Brad Paisley, one of the biggest stars in country music has decided to put his Los Angeles home on the market for $2,995,000.
The house which is in the exclusive Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles overlooking the sea was built in 1925 and has been fully restored with beamed ceilings, stained-glass windows and a two-storey living room with fireplace.
While the house is not huge it’s still got 3394 square ft of space and has four bedrooms and three expensively kitted out bathrooms, as well as detached garage and an extra room in there too.
The country star and three-time Grammy winner is married to actress Kimberly Williams Paisley. The pair bought it in 2004 $1.64 million, so if they get the asking price they stand to make a tidy profit.
It’s believed Brad has put it up for sale because he now spends most of his time at their main home which is a farm in Tennessee, this also has a recording studio so he can work from home.
Paisley’s country and southern rock blend of music has brought him many fans and he is one of the most popular performers on tour circuits where he has played alongside the likes of Reba McEntire and Taylor Swift.
Kimberly Williams-Paisley is a Nashville regular and has appeared in the films, We are Marshall as well as the Father of the Bride series.
Brad Paisley’s latest album, “This is Country Music” was a No.1 hit on the Billboard country charts and went gold in 2011. His first recording was the 1999 album “Who Needs Pictures” on the Arista Nashville label. He has gone on to record seven studio albums and a Christmas compilation with all the albums going gold or higher. He has also released 25 singles of which 16 were number ones. In November 2010 he won the entertainer of the year award at the 44th annual CMA awards.
With gross earnings in the year May 2011 – May 2012 of $32 million, Brad Paisley doesn’t need the money from the house, so the sale is more case of just tidying up some loose ends and selling of property he doesn’t use much.
